How Easy Is It to Schedule a Caregiver/Visit?

GEOH makes scheduling a single visit or a series of visits simple. GEOH walks you through adding a client, creating a care plan, setting up a series of visits, and charting during a visit.

What Is a “Unit” of Service?

A unit of service in home health care is a predetermined time increment for providing a specific service to a patient, defined by the payer (i.e., Medicaid). For example, a unit of service for a home health aide may be an hour, while a unit for skilled nursing care may be defined as 15 minutes.

How Do I Make Sure I Don’t Go Over the Authorized Units?

GEOH’s AI-enabled SMART Scheduling technology keeps track of the units you have scheduled vs. those you have used for any given client. Towards the end of the month, you will be alerted if you haven’t used your allotted units or used more than you should.

Will I Be Penalized for Going Over the Authorized Units?
